Support Continues to Come In!
XS650Direct.com, an online distributor of XS parts, has agreed to support our project! Their online catalogue has just about everything that an XS enthusiast needs. We forsee purchasing most of the aftermarket parts we require, such as the ignition system, carburetors, etc from them. Please click on their link on the upper RHS of the blog page, and support those who support us!

Getting There...
Permission forms to participate are coming in... Mr. Gugin has cleared out a spot at MCI, and the bike will be delivered to the school next week.
First date for the Cafe sessions is October 2nd!
Please be sure to visit the blog site on the upper left hand corner. You will find information on the Winnipeg Technical College Motorsport Technician program. The instructor, Mr. Geoff Ives, will be working with the Cafe Crew as we sort out the machine and get it road worthy. We also hope to connect with some of the Winnipeg students online, if we have any questions about the build.

Welcome!
Welcome the Tanner's Crossing School "Kids Cafe" Page. We will be using this site to chronicle the restoration and construction of a "Cafe Racer" Motorcycle. The students involved are all from TCS, and in grades 7&8. We will be completing this project during the 2012-13 school year (hopefully!). Please check back often for updates of our progress. As well, please be sure to click on the links on the right hand side of the page. These are organizations, businesses, and individuals who are helping us our with our project. If you are a cafe fan yourself, please be sure to consider doing business with those companies who have donated product or support in any way. We plan to get started on October 2nd; in the interim some photos will go up to whet your appetite!
Here is what we are starting with, a 1970s XS650, currently stored in Mr. Sheppard's garage...
